Sachi Park St. Hosts Exclusive Chef’s Table Celebrating Japanese Cuisine in Egypt

Cairo, October 4th, 2025 — In collaboration with Cairo Food Week, Sachi Park St. opened its sixth-floor chef’s table for an intimate and exclusive dining experience that brought together two culinary visionaries Chef Reif Othman, consultant and partner of REIF Kushiyaki Egypt, and Chef Ali Ghadban, Kitchen Director of Baky Hospitality Group.

The evening unfolded as a celebration of the story and evolution of Japanese cuisine in Egypt. For one night only, the two chefs co-created a tasting menu that reflected a shared philosophy honoring Japan’s time-honored culinary traditions while reinterpreting them through a contemporary lens. Every course showcased precision, artistry, and the spirit of collaboration that has defined both chefs’ influence on Egypt’s fine dining scene.

Internationally acclaimed for his bold and inventive approach to Japanese dining, Chef Reif Othman is the creative force behind the Dubai-born concept REIF Japanese Kushiyaki, recipient of the Bib Gourmand distinction from the Michelin Guide and ranked No. 47 on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025.

As Kitchen Director of Baky Hospitality, Chef Ali Ghadban leads the culinary vision across the group’s diverse portfolio and continues to define the Japanese-inspired experience at Sachi. Sachi Giza, located at Park St., proudly holds the No. 40 spot on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025, reaffirming its position as a leader in Egypt’s fine dining landscape.
