Stepping into the world of industrial engineering was not a matter of choice, but of necessity. The journey began with the understanding that success comes through struggle and persistence. At Industrial Engineering Services, a hands-on approach is the cornerstone of its operations. The focus isn’t just on managing effectively, but on fostering respect and deep understanding across every level of the team. Employees are personally mentored from the ground up, ensuring they grasp the intricacies of the business. This personal involvement not only ensures the smooth functioning of all departments but also builds a culture of continual learning and improvement. Through this dedication, Industrial Engineering Services has established itself as a leader in quality and teamwork.

To find out more about the company we at Insights Success interviewed the team at Industrial Engineering Services, to know more about the motivation behind the foundation of the company.

Below are the highlights of the interview:

As one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, could you take us back to the beginning of your journey? What motivated you to step into this dynamic ecosystem?

This business is truly a part of my family. My father laid the foundation years ago, and soon, my son will be stepping in to handle things completely. For me, stepping into this business wasn’t driven by motivation but by necessity. I lost my father when I was just 18. With that loss came the pressure of carrying on the family legacy. From that moment, I made this business my passion, and I’ve worked tirelessly to grow it to where it is today.

Could you share the guiding philosophy that has propelled your organization’s success?

The philosophy that has driven us forward is simple: “Struggle, struggle, struggle.” In the early days, I personally visited nearby plants, hand-delivered materials, made invoices, and even did the clerical and labor work myself. This hands-on experience taught me that without struggle, there is no success. Today, we have over 25 employees, but that core belief remains—if you don’t struggle, you can’t succeed.

The modern business world in Bareilly is continually evolving. Please brief our audience about your firm’s USPs, and how you stand unique in your industry.

Bareilly may not have an abundance of industries, but our Unique Selling Proposition (USP) is our commitment to quality and service. These two factors set us apart. Whether delivering materials to nearby cities, states, or even countries, we’ve multiplied our business solely because of our dedication to serving clients not just as customers but as part of our extended family. It’s this approach that has been our backbone.

Your inspiring leadership style is often recognized as a driving force behind your firm’s achievements. Could you shed light on your approach to leadership and team building within the organization?

To be honest, my leadership philosophy revolves around learning everything myself first. I believe that if you can’t do something yourself, you can’t expect someone else to do it for you. This hands-on approach not only helps me manage more effectively but also builds respect and a deep understanding across the team. I lead by example, which helps in building a strong, self-reliant team.

Business growth revolves around innovation, disruptions, and enhancing the end-user experience. How does your company strike a balance between operational efficiency and customer satisfaction?

We focus on partnering with companies that prioritize research, development, and adapting to future technologies. Without constant adaptation, there’s no growth in our industry. One example of how we balance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction is a recent case where a client needed material urgently in Gujarat, around 1,400 km from Bareilly. We delivered it within two days. This level of service is only possible because I personally monitor the smooth functioning of all our departments.

Digitalization and technological advancements are crucial aspects of the modern business ecosystem. How does your company integrate these principles into its core functioning and contribute to a technovative future?

In our industry, digitalization has impacted about half of our customer base. We have embraced digital promotion and identified market gaps that others haven’t filled. We aim to address those gaps, ensuring that we are constantly adapting and growing. It’s all about recognizing future trends and implementing them strategically to stay ahead.

The workforce is the cornerstone of any successful organization. How does your company foster a culture of growth, skill development, and empowerment among its employees?

The best way to foster growth is through hands-on training. I personally teach employees from scratch, ensuring they understand every aspect of the business. This personalized mentorship not only empowers them but also creates a culture of continual learning and improvement within the company.

Your firm has likely faced its share of challenges. Could you share an instance where your team’s resilience and ingenuity triumphed over adversity?

One of the biggest challenges we faced was during a critical project where we had an unexpected shortage of materials. The client had urgent requirements, and the pressure was immense. Our team worked around the clock, sourcing materials from multiple locations and coordinating logistics seamlessly. Despite the odds, we met the deadline and delivered exactly what the client needed. This experience solidified the importance of teamwork and determination.

What would be your advice to other budding entrepreneurs who aspire to venture into the modern business space?

I always say, “Bina mare swarg nahi milta”—there’s no heaven without death. You need to go through struggles and hardships to find success. Don’t expect immediate results, and don’t shy away from hard work. The journey is tough, but the reward is worth it.

Looking to the future, what is your vision for your firm? How do you aspire to continue making a significant impact on India’s evolving business landscape?

My vision is to capture the market in all nearby states where quality and competitive pricing are lacking. Additionally, we want to focus on brand awareness and safety protocol awareness. Educating our clients and the market about better options and superior quality will be key to our expansion and long-term impact.
